Peter Carrion

Peter grew up in the Sunset Park neighborhood of Brooklyn, NY and spent most of his time breakdancing, smoking marijuana, and playing basketball. He was always involved in the hip hop culture, DJing at house parties by the age of 14.  At the age of 18 he received the Lord in his life and God did a complete transformation in him. He served under Bishop Joseph Mattera for 13 years in Resurrection Church in Brooklyn, NY. He has been involved in ministry for 17 years teaching bible studies at his home church, organizing evangelistic meetings, and traveling nationally to preach the gospel. He assists Youth Pastors helping them start a hip hop ministry in their church to reach the youth. He also serves on the Board at Hudson Valley Christian Academy.

Peter is a witness to the transforming power of the Gospel of Jesus Christ. He founded Freedom of Soul in 2000, which focuses on reaching the hip hop culture with the Gospel of Christ.

Joshua Zepeda

Joshua was born in Manhattan's "Spanish Harlem" neighborhood & at the age of 4 moved to the Flatbush area of Brooklyn. Born to Christian parents he was taught @ a young age the value of the Word of God & the importance of a right relationship with God. So at the age of 13 he gave his life to Christ, the same year he fell in love with the Hip Hop culture, rapping & dancing for his local church. At the age of 15, Joshua joined Freedom Of Soul & has since travelled along side Peter Carrion using hip hop to reach the youth with the Gospel of Christ.

Joshua raps under the name "Flo'Lis" (pronounced flawless) & is in charge of organizing the team, as well as planning the events.
